St Richard Gwyn High School pupils learn cake making skills

PUPILS of St Richard Gwyn High School, Flint, have enjoyed learning cake-making skills.

Andrew Caron of Cascade Cakes & Balloons, Earl Road, Mold, offered his expertise to the after-school cookery club for a five- week course on cake making.

The lessons saw members of the club making and decorating Christmas cakes to take home for the holiday.

All the youngsters went home with a fully iced and decorated cake for their families.

Mr Caron is an award-winning cake decorator and member of the British Sugarcraft Guild.
